Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in OCALA, FL to protect residents and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support community safety with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements include 18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles, and a background/drug screening as applicable. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Criminal histories considered in compliance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or authorized vendors by following security procedures and site policies; assist with emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols through residential areas, parking, exteriors, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report unauthorized activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports and communications with a professional on-site presence.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $14.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or authorized vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with community policies; report unauthorized activity, maintenance concerns, and suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while providing a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
