Job summary

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Service in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer for a hotel and resort location. In this visible, guest-focused role, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous communication to guests and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel and resort grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with hotel staff, guests, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
