Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Ocala, FL to safeguard residents and visitors across residential locations. You will perform routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns with professional customer service.

Shift availability includes DayTime and evening hours. Candidates must meet minimum requirements, undergo background checks and drug screening, and have a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required per policy.

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity to maintain an orderly residential environment.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly residential environment.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
