Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns calmly and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, community policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the community perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
