Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Full Time Security Officer - Overnights in South Charleston, OH. Pay rate is $16.15 per hour with weekly pay and benefits including 401K, medical and dental insurance, and days off.

You will be responsible for protecting clients across multiple industries, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive location while following security procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification and credentials and documenting visitor and delivery authorizations.
• Monitor entry/exit points, maintain logs, issue and collect access credentials, and report discrepancies to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns through established channels as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols around the facility and perimeter, report unusual conditions, and deter unauthorized access.

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights in South Charleston, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue and collect access credentials, and report access-related discrepancies to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility, parking areas, and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
