Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Systems in Richmond, VA. You will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns while delivering strong customer service. Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Systems in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry and report security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain accurate records of incidents, patrol activity, and unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
