Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Control in Richmond, VA. You will protect clients across industries by patrolling, monitoring access points, and delivering professional customer service while upholding our values of integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of security-related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site policies and, when appropriate, emergency response procedures.
• Respond to incidents and tenant concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and document activities and incidents accurately.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders to maintain a welcoming environment.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Control in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
