Allied Universal, Savannah, GA, seeks a Security Officer Full Time - Overnight Unarmed to safeguard clients in aerospace/defense locations. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding the company’s values.

Must be 19+ years old with a valid driver’s license and security experience; comfortable using a computer or tablet. Schedule includes overnights with a pay rate of $18.00/hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ year security experience preferred.
• Must be 19+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft support areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for role
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
