• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies, coordinating with staff and responders as needed.
• Document patrols and incidents clearly and report concerns to site leadership.

Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft areas, hangars, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and/or site concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and follow established protocols for controlling entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrol activity, observations, and incidents through clear and accurate reports, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
