As a Security Officer Full Time Truck Gate in East Greenville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to support a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document security-related information. • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee access badges.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing online resources effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates should possess a background in customer service. This experience should reflect the ability to communicate effectively, resolve issues, and provide a positive experience for clients or customers.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control access to restricted production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
