Job summary

Allied Universal in Imperial, PA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Badge Verification Patrol to safeguard clients at a technology location. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma and 18+ years of age (21+ for armed roles). CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Background check and drug screen are required. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, unsecured doors, and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity and follow visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related events.

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
