Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and communications-focused location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report issues to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, documenting observations and notifying emergency responders as directed.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports accurately and in line with company and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time - Mornings in Davenport, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and communications-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
