Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

• Respond to access-related incidents and emergencies in a calm, solution-focused manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, perimeter areas, parking areas, and industrial surroundings.
• Document incidents and shift information accurately and communicate details to leadership.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming, controlled environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers at an industrial location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate check-in procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, perimeter areas, parking areas, and industrial worksite surroundings to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access activity, and shift information accurately, and communicate relevant details to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
