Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Security Driver in Miami, FL. You will provide security, drive as needed, and deliver excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

The role requires patrolling, access control, incident reporting, and a professional presence to deter security incidents. Shifts are 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, five days a week, with a pay rate of 16.97 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required per policy.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Security Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report irregular conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location, communicate professionally with occupants and management, and provide directions or assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
