• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, delivery areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document incidents.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
