Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver in Glen Burnie, MD. You will patrol retail locations, deter security incidents, and maintain a visible presence to ensure a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Expect schedule from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM on multiple days with a focus on responsive, professional service and adherence to company values.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license per policy.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store staff while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the retail area, entrances, parking lots, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor traffic and observe for policy violations or suspicious behavior, reporting concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to site management and leadership.

Job Description

Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver in Glen Burnie, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s Driver Policy. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unwanted activity.


• Monitor customer and employee traffic, observe for potential policy violations or suspicious behavior, and report concerns according to site procedures.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.


• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• A Guard Card/License is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
