Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Monitoring in New York, NY. You will monitor, patrol, and safeguard clients across healthcare and other sites, delivering professional service and support to staff, visitors, and patients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner following protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned areas and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to restrict access where needed.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate observations to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Monitoring in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

• Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly access to restricted or sensitive areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
