Allied Universal in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Security Officer – Full Time, Lobby Operations, to protect clients across financial institutions with a welcoming, professional presence. You will support access control, visitor management and security communications, while maintaining a safe environment through observation, documentation, and customer service excellence.

Requirements include a Level III Armed Certification in Texas and a high school diploma.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Operations in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive observation, accurate documentation, and exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat08:00 PM - 08:00 AM Sun08:00 PM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, assisting with access procedures, and directing guests to appropriate areas within a financial institution location.
• Monitor the front desk area, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and follow site-specific security-related policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive observation and adherence to established procedures.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency responders while completing required reports and documenting security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
