As a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Access Reception in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier retail location, you will welcome guests, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. Using computer or tablet systems, you will help maintain a professional, secure environment while communicating clearly with visitors and team members. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Tue 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Thur 11:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 AM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide a welcoming, professional front-desk presence for guests, clients, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the luxury retail location, verify credentials and/or visitor appointments, and direct guests according to established protocols.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, courteous, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and support a polished customer experience through attentive observation and professional communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
