Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Reception Ambassador at a premier retail location in McLean, VA. You will greet visitors, verify access, issue badges, and maintain a welcoming security posture while supporting daily operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at a luxury retail location by following security procedures and policies.
• Welcome guests, verify access, manage visitor sign-in, and direct individuals appropriately.
• Monitor lobby activity and access points, report issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, follow site procedures, and contact emergency services or leadership as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, incident, and access-control records.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at a luxury retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting guests, verifying access authorization, managing visitor sign-in processes, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and available security-related systems, reporting unusual activity, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, incident, and access-control records while supporting a welcoming and professional customer experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
