Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Coordinator in McLean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier retail location, you will create a welcoming presence while supporting a secure environment for guests, employees, and merchandise. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, clients, and vendors at the front desk of a luxury retail location and assisting with site-specific access procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site policies, and maintain accurate visitor and vendor records.
• Respond to security-related incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate promptly with store leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and emergency responders as appropriate regarding suspicious activity, policy concerns, and incident details.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining awareness of activity at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
