Job summary

Allied Universal, Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol to safeguard campus facilities and deter incidents. As an unarmed officer at an educational location, you will patrol, monitor access points, and provide courteous service to students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and notify campus personnel or responders.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and maintain awareness of visitor activity.
• Prepare reports and documentation of incidents and security activities.

As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol in CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $14.21 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help maintain awareness of visitor, student, and staff activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and documentation related to incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
