Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Pharr, TX. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide courteous customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour. Work schedule spans DayTime shifts with multiple daily time blocks across Mon-Fri. Background checks and drug screening are required, and licensing per state/local laws may be needed.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Observe and report unusual activity, facility conditions, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Pharr, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a home products location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
