Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Fort Worth, TX. You will protect campus facilities and respond to incidents with professionalism.

This role requires CPO certification, Texas Level III Armed Certification, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screens. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and document incidents as part of our security team.

Qualifications

• CPO certification is required.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally following campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to campus contacts or emergency personnel.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain records of patrol activities and actions taken.

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of patrol activities, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO certification is required.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
