Allied Universal in Belleville, MI is seeking a Security Officer for interior patrol duties at a financial institution. You will patrol, maintain a visible presence, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors.

The position is full-time with daytime shifts; pay starts at $21.50 per hour. Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma, and can pass background checks and drug screening.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report suspicious activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
