Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time unarmed patrol in Saint Louis, MO. You will monitor a financial institution, patrol banking areas, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service while documenting observations.

The position requires at least two years in security, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate a computer or tablet. Schedule includes daytime shifts with competitive hourly pay of $21.00.

Qualifications

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.
