Responsibilities

As a Security Guard Full Time Facility Patrol in Frederick, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security‑related incidents, and support access control activities. You will communicate professionally with staff and visitors, respond to alarms and incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare and biopharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
