Qualifications

As a Security Officer Clinical Response in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, restricted-area access, and traffic flow in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and facility personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
