Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Entrance Screening in Pooler, GA. You will screen individuals and items, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service in a logistics and distribution setting.

Daytime shifts available, pay rate $15.24 per hour. Minimum six months security experience; CPR and license preferred. Join a team focused on safety, integrity, and people-first service.

Qualifications

• At least six months of security-related experience required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and screening at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles according to procedures.
• Verify identification, access credentials, and shipping docs; report discrepancies.
• Respond calmly to incidents following reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Verify identification, access credentials, and shipping-related documentation as required; report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, business operations, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
