As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, authorizations, visitor credentials, and delivery or pickup appointments.
• Monitor entry and exit points, loading areas, and vehicle traffic; maintain accurate visitor, contractor, driver, and key or access credential records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading dock areas to help identify unusual activity and support site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience are required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
