Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a driving, full-time role in Concord, California. The incumbent will patrol utility facilities, provide customer service, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Role in Concord, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $25.40 / Hour

• Wed: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
