Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Property Inspections in Lakewood, WA. You will patrol and protect a government transit location, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Position type is full time with a pay rate of $28.50 per hour. The role requires a valid driver’s license, background check, and adherence to site procedures; CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualificações

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government transit location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and employees. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, surrounding grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or public agencies as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, assisting with access control and reporting unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security‑related concerns in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
