Job summary

Allied Universal in Elkton, MD is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and report security concerns, using clear communication and a people-first approach.

This driving post requires a valid driver's license and compliance with our driver policy. Daytime to evening shifts are available, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Observe conditions that may affect operations or require attention, communicate concerns to appropriate personnel, and support a professional workplace environment.

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
