Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the retail property to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions to site management or leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation as required.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol near Clinton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to site management or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
