Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records.
• Control access for commercial vehicles, contractors, and personnel in accordance with site requirements, directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and support security-related operations.

As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, greet visitors, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will support daily operations through clear communication, professional customer service, and prompt reporting of security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
