Allied Universal in Greenville, SC is hiring a Security Officer Full Time - Distribution Access. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service in a technology-focused environment.

Shifts run Mon-Fri 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Responsibilities include monitoring access points, patrolling, documenting incidents, and collaborating with teammates to ensure a safe, welcoming workplace for clients and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal history considered in line with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by location.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unauthorized access.
• Complete detailed activity reports and shift handoffs as required.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM


• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM


• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM


• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM


• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entry points, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access concerns.


• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
