Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout technology-focused facilities, including business areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and employee activity in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Entrance Verification in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and personnel, and support security-related operations using computer or tablet-based tools. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout technology-focused facilities, including business areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and employee activity in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
