Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Guard at our Greenville, SC site. You will monitor zones, patrol areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service to clients in tech-focused environments.

You will coordinate with team members, respond to incidents, document activities, and ensure a welcoming, safe environment. The role includes shift-based daytime hours and compliance with site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as required by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
