Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Security Officer for a financial institution located in Jersey City, NJ.

Starting Salary: $24.00 per hour

Available Shifts: Mon - Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have 2 years of security experience
• Must have an active NJ SORA Card

As a Security Officer, your role includes serving and safeguarding clients across various industries such as commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency responses
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and critical situations
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with environments varying by client site

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening as per law
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality, and may be required prior to employment

Part-Time Flex Security Officer Role

Location: Residential complex in Edison, NJ

Starting Salary: $18.00 per hour

Shifts: Must be flexible

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security experience
• Valid NJ driver’s license in good standing for at least one year
