Allied Universal is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer for a financial institution in Jersey City, NJ.

Starting salary: $24.00 per hour

Available shifts: Mon - Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have 2 years of security experience
• Must have an active NJ SORA Card

The Security Officer will serve and safeguard clients across various industries, including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government sectors.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate
• Responding to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively
• Conducting regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with environments varying by client site

Minimum requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Applicants will undergo a background check and drug screening as per laws
• Licensing requirements vary by state and/or local laws and may be needed before employment

We are also hiring a Part-Time Flex Security Officer for a residential complex in Edison, NJ.

Starting salary: $18.00 per hour

Shift flexibility required

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security experience
• Valid NJ driver's license in good standing for at least one year
