Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Support Patrol in Marcus Hook, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist customers and store personnel with professionalism. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store associates, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate store contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
