Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to protect and assist clients at a healthcare location in Malibu, CA. This full-time role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and includes unarmed patrols, access control, and rapid response to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

You will monitor entrances, complete reports, and collaborate with on-site staff to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as required, and maintain visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
