Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Campus Patrol Driver Response in Columbus, OH. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sectors, performing routine patrols, monitoring areas, supporting access control, and maintaining a presence that deters incidents.

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving role. Typical shifts are daytime via a set schedule, with opportunities to advance through training and career growth programs.

Job Description

Security Officer Full Time Campus Patrol Driver Response in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and shift activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
