Job summary

Master Security Company, LLC is seeking a Security Officer for full-time duty at a Brambleton, VA site. The role entails mobile patrols at a shopping center, enforcing rules, and maintaining safety during a 40-hour schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a daily log of all activities at the post.

• Conduct walking and vehicular patrols during shift.
• Enforce customer rules professionally and courteously.
• Report on time in proper uniform at the post.
• Interact with the public and communicate clearly.
• Assess emergencies and respond promptly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE DCJS CARD AND A FULL DRIVERS LICENSE


• Minimum age requirement of 18 years


• Legal work status in the US


• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent


• Ability to pass a drug screening


• Reliable and functional transportation (Public transportation is not acceptable)


• Ownership of a cell phone for contact by Operations Supervisors


• Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions


• Ability to perform duties as stated in post orders, which may include standing/walking for extended periods or lifting


• Familiarity with mobile technology (tablets, smartphones, etc.)

DUTIES/WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
