Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Patrol Driver in Birmingham, AL. You will patrol on foot, by vehicle and bicycle, provide customer service, and help maintain a safe environment at a retail/mall location.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, with a background check and drug screen as part of employment. Responsibilities include monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting daily activities per site protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, exterior entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report unusual conditions, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Patrol Driver in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols by vehicle and bicycle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
