• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Observe inbound/outbound traffic, report unauthorized access, and deter theft or security incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents, notify appropriate personnel, and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular or random patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeter as required by location.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Processing Driver in Pittston, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Professional at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and deliver exceptional customer service. Use computer or tablet systems to support badge processes, communicate with visitors and team members, and remain visible to help deter incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Join a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License (AU Driver Policy Requirements - C123)Candidates must possess a valid driver's license. This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. Familiarity with security protocols and procedures is preferred.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates should have a background in customer service. Experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support is essential for roles that involve direct interaction with clients.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and delivery records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic, report unauthorized access attempts, and help to deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notify appropriate personnel, and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
