Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Badge Operations in Boca Raton, FL to safeguard residents and guests. You will verify visitor access, monitor entry points, and respond to security concerns while delivering exceptional customer service daily.

Role includes evening/night shifts, patrols, and documentation of activities. Requires 1+ year security experience, a valid guard license, and the ability to use computers or tablets. Florida license and background check required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents and community staff while documenting security-related observations, incidents, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
