Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• TSA-issued TWIC required.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
• Industry-specific security training participation required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility customers by following site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly according to site procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utilities facilities, buildings, parking areas, equipment yards, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, contractors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities, and maintain professional communication with site contacts and emergency responders.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
