Allied Universal in Seattle, WA, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrols for day shift. You will provide security at a retail location, performing armed patrols, protecting shoppers and staff, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must possess Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must possess an armed guard card or license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen will be administered as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations calmly and professionally following post orders.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location including sales floors, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas.
• Deter theft and policy violations through a professional armed presence and timely reporting of suspicious activity.
• Document incidents and patrol activities, coordinating with site leadership and responding law enforcement when required.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrols - Day Shift in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, receiving areas, parking lots, exterior entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized activity, and policy violations through a professional armed presence, observation, and timely reporting of suspicious activity.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and noteworthy conditions accurately; coordinate with site leadership, Allied Universal management, and responding law enforcement personnel when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
