• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed, coordinating with site contacts.
• Prepare clear activity, incident, and patrol reports per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Emergency in Orlando, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.09 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to facility personnel, visitors, and authorized individuals while following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, entrances, and parking locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Preferred qualification: ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Preferred qualification: Guard Card or license.
• Preferred qualification: customer service experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
